Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Escalante was working as an attending general pediatrician in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Emergency Department. She specializes in care for medically complex children and adolescent health and has a special interest in asthma, ADHD, adolescent health and healthy equity.
In her spare time, Dr. Escalante enjoys spending time outside with her husband and daughter. She enjoys swimming, cooking, sitting at the playground, and getting involved in overly complicated home improvement projects with her husband.
